What’s been happening:

Since graduating in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in anthropology, I have acquired a master of science degree in education from Mansfield University. I completed my coursework in May 2008 and have been teaching in a Yup'ik Eskimo bush village on the Alaska Peninsula. Aside from teaching high school social studies and language arts, I spend my time salmon fishing, berry picking, riding four-wheelers, bear watching, and learning the local traditions and customs.
